Welcome to the first newsletter of the year.
It has been a week of extremes:  there was a joyful return to our wonderful school on Tuesday, but also a great shock on Wednesday as we lost a wonderful teacher, and an incredibly brave young pupil, both to illness within a few hours of each other.  See the tributes on page 1.
